Peter Fowler founded Benson and Brown in 1988. He worked extensively in the marine electrical industry in the North Queensland town of Airlie Beach and later moved his business to the Gold Coast City Marina at Coomera. As the business grew, he recruited his sons Stephen Fowler in 1996 and Nicholas Fowler in 2012.
Benson and Brown are now well known across the marine industry as a company who offer quality Project Management, Electrical Designers and Surveyors as well as an expert team of electricians who have many years of experience in new builds, and rectification work.
Their work extends into engineering solutions such as custom designed, manufactured switchboards and sub-boards.
They are authorised distribution agents for Victron Energy Products and a host of associated electrical componentry. Specialising in a range of diagnostic processes, particularly in identifying and rectifying anode activity (Cathodic Protection Testing). As industry leaders in the interpretation an application of Australian Electrical Standards for domestic and imported vessels, Benson and Brown are always enthusiastic for new and challenging projects.
